we're still here..still kickin, just so dang busy!!!!!!

Wow...I have really neglected our little blog updates..but with school in full swing and my little angel keeping me hoppin, I find NO EXTRA time :)
But we are all really good!
C is loving 2nd grade, he really is. He wasnt too sure the first couple wks of school, and leaned more towards wanting to be home with me and Soph, but now, one mo later, he loves it and cant wait to go each day! He had his annual walk-a-thon yesterday, and Soph and I walked up to join him! He raised a good chunk of change for his school and ran vs walked his heart out...S did her best to keep up and insisted in walking/running w/the big kids!
S is great too...our busy little bee, who NEVER stops talking...imagine that, a daughter of mine that talks a lot...wonder where she learned that? She has the BEST little personality...is truly a hoot, and has everyone laughing wherever she goes! She has so much fun with the little ones that come here each week, and plays sooo well with them. They are all such a sweet little group of kids and I enjoy them even more! We also just started her in Chinese music class led through our local FCC. Her good little friend from church is in it along with some other good friends of ours. The class is super cute!
So all in all we are good..loving fall and getting excited for Halloween and our annual party!

Friday Family Night...picnic at the park

A couple wks back we spent our family time on a gorgeous Friday nt at a local metro park, with dinner packed, and some kites, it turned out to be one of the best Friday nights I've had in a long time :)
The kites were a disaster....crappy dollar store purchases..shouldn't have expected more out of them, J had a few moments of pure frustrated adult language while assembling them, and I think for 4 seconds, we got one of them up in the air..LOL...but the funniest thing was watching Sophie chase Charlie with a mad determination to hit him upside the head with the kite...I know, doesnt sound very kind, but I am telling you, I have not laughed this hard in...cant remember how long, I literally had tears running down my face! You had to be there I'm sure, but the sight of her running after him and screaming like a maniac in hopes to clobber him with this kite was so freaking funny for some reason! Probably only b/c I'm their mom and think they are both the funniest things ever, but even Charlie was cracking up at her little crazy self! She is such a hoot, she's got such a funny character to her....oh how I love her!
Thankyou Lord for my precious family of four, who I couldnt adore more ;)
