Fall Festivities begin...Fun w/Grandy too!!!

Fall is here..hooray! My favorite time of year! Our Sophie Su visited her very first pumpkin patch this past weekend along w/her big brother and her Grandy!! Charlie picked out two pumpkins for him and her....and I have to admitt..although I hid it well..I felt tears well up when we came home and put those two pumpkins out on our front porch..one for him..one for her...something I have lived and waited through four Halloweens for! Life is sooo Good...Praise God!!!
Sophie is doing so well...I can't believe we've had her almost 2 whole months...I sware though it seems we've had her the entire 10mo's of her life...I do not remember life w/o her...(well..okay..I do remember how much easier my life was w/one child...the days I could do my hair and makeup at a leisurely pace...go for a run whenever...scrapbook whenever...ahh...so I do remember...but you know what I mean..lol)
She is a precious gift from God...he could not have picked a more perfect baby girl for us!

Fun Filled Weekend!

Lots of fun stuff this weekend...took Sophie to our of our fav spots to go hang out..in the MetroParks...Charlie brought along one of his best buddies Casey.
Then we had Grandpa Scott, Aunt Sarah and Aunt Emily drive down to visit and meet Sophie Su...lots of fun!
Then yesterday we took a trip to the county fair...saw lots of smelly animals..rode lots of rides and Charlie won his baby sister a prize beating Daddy in one of those silly fair games!
Fun had by all...loving fall...and most of all..loving my life w/Jeff, Charlie and Sophie...doesnt get much better than this!!!!

Trying to find a cute photo for our announcements...and finding it hard to keep a 9 mo old still and smiling!!!

ok..very unorganized "photoshoot" going on out on the back deck....no backdrops...no pretty settings...just spur the moment b/c it's a miracle I got a headband to stay on Miss Sophie Su's head..LOL!!!
Not sure which we'll use..but found some super cheap announcement cards and gonna try to get them out soon!

Two Big Games this weekend...our Buckeyes and our Sharks!

"OH..IO"....we still love you Buckeyes..win or no win! And we have a future cheerleader for you....Our Sophie Su..first time in piggie tails and first time in Buckeye Dress...Fast forward 19 years and I think she'll be a perfect fit!
And the most important game in this household...our Charlie boy and his soccer team..Go Sharks!
Although there were no wins in either game it was all fun!
And, believe it or not, we actually ate Chinese Food again(after i swore I would never touch the stuff)at our fav local place and it was good...and no, it did not taste the same as in China...sorry to say...I like it here better!
Our friends who adopted their baby girl along w/us joined us there as well, so Sophie and Jaden dined and slurped Asian noodles together and it was one big Hot Mess!!
