Sophie and Sasha!

As much as I've NEVER been a cat lover...i will say, our two felines do grow on me:) The most outgoing of our two cats, Sasha, just LOVES Sophie! She follows her around everywhere, lays w/her while she watchs Barney, and sits next to her highchair often when we eat! So far, Sophie is as interested in Sasha as well, and has been very gentle and sweet w/her....well, except the one time Sophie bite Sasha in the tail...yes, I said "Sophie" bite, not Sasha..LOL!

This has been the start to my week!

The Stomach virus paid a visit to us this past wkend and week! Not only did my poor babies suffer, but mommy got it too!
Pray it doesnt visit you...I thought I was dying!

Some of Sophie's Fav things at 14mo's old!

I love, love this age! It is so amazing that at such a young age of only one years old, how MUCH children comprehend and communicate back w/us!
Sophie is a busy little lady, who keeps us hoppin all day long!
Some of her most fav things to do on any given day, is:
-Read books...books, books, and more books....she will go over to her book shelf, pull them out and then walk backwards up into your lap and sit right down so we can read to her...LOL!
-She loves dramatic play, and will walk over to the basement door which leads to the play room and pound on it and say, "down"!
-Down there, she loves to pretend to "feed" the baby dolls and stuffed animals, and play w/the kitchen set. She also loves to play in the tent and tunnel that Santa brought her and Charlie!
-Barney...UGH..as much as I can't stand Barney...I have to admitt I he is growing on me! Her excitement to sit and watch when he comes on is so funny! It's the only show she currently gets really absorbed into! Most days while I make lunch, she grabs her blankie and bunny and plops her self down for Barny time!
-Her BROTHER!!! This should have been my first listing, b/c Sophie ADORES Charlie! Jeff and I have been so overjoyed to watch the bond they have together, even w/a 5 yr difference in age. Last night while Charlie was playing the wii, Sophie just kept walking over to him and kissing his leg! :) So far, he has been gracious to her especially while his friends are over...she HAS to be part of whatever they are doing...I KNOW this tolerance from him wont last long, but I'm enjoying it while it lasts..LOL!
Anyway...there are no words for how happy this sweet baby girl has made us, how much joy and happiness and peace she has added to our lives....
Sophie Su Ruth, we love you more than you'll ever know!

Charlie's 7th Bowling Birthday Bash!

Finally, after having to reschedule due to all this crazy snow...Charlie got to celebrate his 7th bday w/all his fav buddies!
As much as I wish I could take credit for his fabulous R2D2 cake....I cant....thanks to Grandy..aka-my mom, she spent days working on this awesome cake for charlie! It sure was a big hit, and Charlie was so surprised!!!!
I can't believe our sweet Charlie boy is 7! And I couldn't be prouder of who he is!
Mommy loves you Charlie to the sun and the stars and the moon..and back and back and back...pieces and parts..parts and pieces!

First Trip to Chuck E Cheese for Maddie's bday!

What a fun time we had at our dear friend Maddies bday! Happy 3rd bday Ms Maddie Kate!
Although Sophie was not a fan of Chuckie, she sure was a fan of the pizza, cake and games:)
