Wow, summer sure has flown by as it always does...we've had such a good one, we've travled many places, seen lots of loved ones that live far away, spent lots of time at the pool, enjoyed the company of many diff good friends and played our hearts out!
And praise God, Charlie is (so far) not nervous a/b school for once this year....3 yrs ago, we were starting pre-k and leaving home for first time ever, so "we"(probably mostly me..LOL)were full of nerves then to leave home for three, 2 hr days away...then came kindergarten, first time gone 2 FULL days a wk, first time eating lunch away from home(again, prob more traumatic for me), then came last fall, first grade, first time away ALL day, ALL week long..UGH..that was the hardest for us both I think....
BUT, we got through, we both grew ;) and now, he's going to be a big second grader, and he's so excited,backpack already packed, feels he's a pro now at going to school, all day, eveyday, in a school he now knows well and loves! AMEN to all that!
I can't imagine having to relive all this again in 4 yrs w/Soph..LOL!!!!
Happy end of summer to all and hooray for fall around the corner and cooler days ahead!
